A：I think the young candidate will win the election.
若手の候補者が選挙に勝つと思うな。
B：Well, I don’t think so. I predict that the opposition party will win. You just watch.
やれやれ、そうは思わないよ。私は野党が勝つと予想するよ。まあ見てて。
A：Okay. Let’s wait and watch.
わかった。様子を見てみよう。

A：Our son has really studied hard this year. I’m sure he will pass the entrance test.
息子は今年、一所懸命勉強してきたね。 入試に合格するって確信してるよ。
B：But I think he still isn’t good enough to enter the medical university.
でも、彼は医大に入るにはまだ十分ではないと思う。
A：You just watch.
